5 out of 5 stars Best litter system ever   October 30, 2008

I have really struggled with a decent litterbox- easy to clean, no smell, and especially, one that my diabetic boy cat would use (instead of my rugs...). Finally, after literally years and several variations of boxes, this litter box has fit the bill. Its super easy to clean, no smell, and the price is very affordable. The cats took to using them without any difficulty. Once I bought one of the Breeze systems, I quickly bought more. Now I'm finally thinking I can start buying rugs again.

5 out of 5 stars Best Litter Box Ever   October 17, 2008

I purchased my first Breeze litter box in June. I have since purchased 3 more. The ease of maintenance and odor control can't be beat! The only drawback was it took a little while for my cats to "poo" in the Breeze - but once they got used to the idea . . . well you get the picture. The urine pads are easy to change and really keep the odor down. It's really nice to walk into the house and not have that dusty cat litter smell whacking you in the nose. A couple of times the urine pad has folded over (due to my haste in installing a new pad I'm sure) and I've had a tray full of cat urine, but it was just a simple matter of dumping it down the toilet - the pellets last me a month and I change the pad once a week - nothing could be easier. And no need for litter deoderizer either. I hope Tidy Cat continues to make the Breeze for a long time to come.

1 out of 5 stars Litter Box failure   October 6, 2008

I have two cats and they have separate litter boxes. I purchased this item mainly for my male cat as he is bigger and his box needs cleaned more freqently. He would not use the box at all no matter how I tried. Nor would my female cat use the box. Both cats refused to even try this product even with my coaxing and attempts to modify their behavior. In my opinion this new type of box is very difficult to get your cats to use if they have being using tradition litter and boxes in the past. I wasted $40.00.

4 out of 5 stars Easier than most litter systems   October 1, 2008
Over all this is a good system. My cat had no problems getting used to it. The pellets don't last as long as they say. The pads are very absorbent and do a good job controlling urine odor. The box itself is easy to clean.
I find that I must change the pad every 4-5 days and change the pellets every 3 weeks with just one cat.

4 out of 5 stars Best system yet! Poop odor though.....   September 14, 2008

I have 2 big cats. They are 8 and 11 years old. I was so tired of cleaning up clumpy litter on my floor and scooping so much. This has been a heaven sent product so far!!! The poop does stay on top uncovered-the only downside. So I solve the smell issue by burning a match or keeping a box of Arm and Hammer litter deodorizer over the pellets. Of course I remove the poop asap and flush it. The box could be a little bit bigger. Occasionally, one of the cats will miss because of their large back end while urinating- and so I keep one of the pads outside of the box just in case.It works well. No smell of urine at all. I think my cats are happier.
I am too!
