About Our Border Terrier Breeding Program
At Mariwood Border Terriers my goal is to produce Borders of top quality, excellent conformation, sound in health, and temperment. I have been breeding for 6 years and have 2 - 3 litters a year. All my dogs and puppies are in my home and are well socialized and given lots of love and attention.

Health Information About Our Border Terrier Dogs & Puppies
All my girls are OFA'd and CERF'd before breeding them. I never breed anyone before they are 2 years of age. Each girl gets a yearly Vet checkup and vaccinations. At six weeks of age all puppies have a very thorough checkup by Dr. Karen Becker of the Natural Pet Animal Hospital, at this time they are microchipped. At eight weeks they receive their first puppy shot. No puppy leave me before nine weeks of age.
Buyer Requirements for Our Border Terrier Puppies
I prefer a home that will treat their Border as a member of the family, giving it the love and attention that they need to have a happy and long life. I like to stay in touch withall my puppy buyers, to answer quetions, and offer training advice as their puppy grows.
In 1999 I began making my dogs' food at home. Their diet is based on the book "Natural Nutrition for Dogs and Cats", by Kymythy Schultze C.C.N., A.H.I and with the medical support of Dr. Karen Becker. If you don't have a healthy mom you will not have a healthy puppy. I feel fortunate to share my like with my Bordrs. Their unconditional love and devotion has brought much happieness to my life.
